Official Announcement: Coronavirus (COVID-19) safeguards at
FIRST Group Malaysia & Singapore
Effective 17 March 2020
Due to the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which has been declared a global health pandemic by the World Health Organisation, in the interest of reducing possible impact of COVID-19, FIRST Group Malaysia & Singapore has implemented work from home policies across our offices in Selangor, Penang, and Singapore.
In line with the Movement Control Order (MCO) announced by the Malaysian Government on 16 March 2020 in effort to contain the COVID-19 outbreak, from 18 March to 14 April 2020, we will operate on a work-from-home basis. Our customers will be served and supported virtually and our dedicated support teams will stay agile in responding to your needs at this time. Our offices in Malaysia will remain closed throughout the MCO period.
MCO period for Singapore was announced by the Singaporean Government on 03 April 2020, from 07 April to 04 May 2020. Our office in Singapore will remain closed for demos and meetings throughout the MCO period. However, our support channels will be online during normal working hours. We have began rolling out remote support solutions for the past week. During this time, on-site support is only available for systems installed at facilities that form part of the global supply chain industry.
