Overview

ZEISS ScanBox Series 4 is a compact, turnkey optical 3D measuring system designed for the automated inspection of parts up to approximately 500 mm in size. Combining industrial robotics with ATOS optical 3D scanning technology, it delivers fast, repeatable, and metrology-grade measurements for product development, first article inspection, and serial production. Its Plug & Play concept allows for quick installation and easy integration into manufacturing environments.

The Series 4 family is available in three configurations to suit different production requirements:

Series 4 (Standard) – Designed for automated inspection with manual loading, making it ideal for manufacturers seeking a compact and flexible inspection cell.

Series 4 RC (Remote Control) – Features a motorised sliding door that allows automatic loading and unloading by a robot or customised feeding system. This significantly increases throughput and machine utilisation for serial production while reducing manual handling.

Series 4 for eMotors – Purpose-built for the fully automated inspection of electric motor components, including hairpins and stators, supporting high-volume e-mobility manufacturing with dedicated inspection workflows.
