When drawings are missing or outdated, scanning rebuilds an engineering-ready model from the physical part.

Many manufacturers rely on components for which CAD data is incomplete, outdated, or simply never existed. Recreating those models by hand is slow and error-prone.

By combining high-accuracy 3D scanning with dedicated Scan-to-CAD software, a physical part can be reconstructed into a precise, editable model — ready for redesign, tooling modification, remanufacturing, or additive manufacturing, while preserving the original geometry.

The payoff is speed and fidelity: engineering teams get a trustworthy starting model in a fraction of the time, without losing the nuances of the original freeform surfaces.
